The normative specification defines the file location, required frontmatter, status values, decision body and validation rules for consequential technical decisions made by agents.
What AgDR records
An AgDR records what an agent decided, the context that led to the decision, and the rationale that should remain available after the session ends.

JSON is an additional serialisation of the AgDR information model. Markdown stays the repository-native representation. The two representations must preserve the same decision semantics. Read the full draft text in section 9 of SPEC.md. The draft JSON Schema is unreleased too.
Interoperability
Typed relationships may be added as an extension. They are informative until adopted by the AgDR specification.
